Going Goth
We enjoyed our breakfast of mini pastries from the bread tent as we waited in line to climb Notre Dame, the beautiful Gothic cathedral on the Île de la Cité. The climb was a lot less difficult than the Eiffel Tower which was good because it was already pretty warm out. The view from the towers was amazing! Since it was such a clear day we could see all of Paris and being so close to the gargoyles was certainly unique. The climb was definitely worth the wait and ended up being one of my favorite experiences of the trip.
