Happy Birthday Grace
It is crazy to think little Grace is already one! Mom Julie asked if I would shoot Grace’s First Birthday Party and I was more than happy to do so. I enjoy shooting Grace because her joy is infectious. I took many pictures at her party and I swear she was smiling or laughing in almost every shot! It is hard not to smile along with her.
While I do love shooting portraits where you can control the lighting and poses and rework shots when things aren’t quite right, there is something magical about candid shots. They may not end up being the cleanest images but catching sweet moments like cousins sharing a laugh or a grandfather helping with a bottle are better to me than anything posed and perfected in the studio.
