Sunset on the Seine

Paris is a great walking city but it is far too large to walk everywhere.  We decided we didn’t want to be stuck underground on the Metro so we took advantage of the Batobus commuter boat on the Seine to get around.  The unlimited two day Batobus pass was one of the best decisions we made because instead of stressing about figuring out connecting trains on the Metro, each commute was transformed into a relaxing cruise down the river.  Our first trip was a sunset cruise from Notre Dame to the Eiffel Tower and the views were spectacular!  It certainly was not the quickest way to travel but by the time we made it to the Eiffel the sun had set and we got to see the Tower sparkle. Très incroyable!  We finished the evening at a cute little cafe by the Champ des Mars where I had some delicious crepes.  It doesn’t get much better than that :-)
