]]> I came across a photo over the holidays of a Christmas tree where the lights were in the shapes of little stars.  It was such a magical effect and I knew I had to try to recreate it.  I found an online tutorial on how to make your own filter to shape the bokeh (the pretty blurry background).  I figured a heart would be seasonally appropriate.  My filter isn’t exactly photo-ready but I was pleased with the effect.  I can’t wait to try to incorporate it into more shots!  Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! :-)
