]]> I have been very lucky to work with some fun (and photogenic!) families, the Alexanders were certainly no exception.  We knew we wanted to shoot on the water so we decided on Lynch Park in Beverly as our location.  I had never been before but it seemed like there would be a great combination of green space and beach, which was perfect for getting a variety of shots.  It’s not too often you can work the beach and a rose garden into the same shoot!

Little Lila was so cooperative and I was impressed she kept her adorable white dress pristine despite all the dirt, sand and potential for disaster (that was more than could be said for me!).

Towards the end of the shoot, we were able to take advantage of the gorgeous golden hour light peaking through the trees along the shore.  It was the perfect way to spend a summer afternoon!

]]> I recently had the opportunity to go down to the Cape on a beautiful June day before the summer craziness ensnarls that area in crowds and traffic.  I visited Old Silver Beach in Falmouth which given its soft white sand and warm water from the Bay is the closest to being in the Caribbean without leaving Massachusetts.

Of course I had to stay for the gorgeous views of the sunset.  While sea grass totally grosses me out while I’m swimming, I couldn’t get enough of it in these shots.  If anyone wants to shoot on a beach this summer, I’m in!
